  23.             MAGIC is a computer-based library catalog of more  than  1.3
  24.             million  unique  book, serial, microform, and other non-book
  25.             titles in the Michigan State University Libraries.

  29.             To access using IBM 3270 emulation:
  30.             TN3270 to magic.msu.edu (35.8.2.99).
  31.             At the VM 370 screen press the _e_n_t_e_r key.
  32.             At the logon screen enter "Dial MAGIC".
  33.             Press _e_n_t_e_r to get the MAGIC introductory screen.
  34.             To exit from MAGIC, use your local escape sequence to return
  35.             to the TN 3270 program and close the network connection.
  36.  
  37.             To access using Telnet (VT100, VT200 emulation):
  38.             Telnet to merit.msu.edu (35.8.2.56).
  39.             Enter "MAGIC" at the "Which Host?" prompt.
  40.             Enter "VT100" as your terminal type.  The MAGIC introductory
  41.             screen will be displayed.
  42.             To exit from MAGIC, press _C_T_R_L-_E and then enter "%quit"

  46.             MAGIC is available to anyone, without any restrictions.
